Ohiwa Black Diamonds: Truffle Popcorn

Whether it's a movie night with friends or Netflix with your family on a chilly winter evening, this addictive, delicious snack will keep your taste buds satisfied.

Truffle popcorn is quick and easy to make, without compromising on flavour. 

Ingredients

In a large pot, add the canola oil and one teaspoon of truffle oil and turn to a high heat. When hot, add the popcorn kernels and cover. The popcorn will start popping almost immediately.
When popcorn has finished popping, remove the pot from heat and transfer into a large bowl.
Use the original (still hot) pot to melt the butter and combine leftover Truffle Oil. Do not return this pot to the heat/stove, the warmth should be sufficient  to melt butter without burning.
Once the butter is melted, pour HALF over the popcorn and toss to combine, adding Truffle Salt to taste. Once lightly coated, then add the remaining butter/oil combination to ensure even and delicious flavour distribution.
